Locum Band 7 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Suffolk

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist service in Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Paediatric OT to provide specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with neurological and sensory processing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinically effective, person-centred and evidence-based OT assessments and interventions.
• Complete specialist assessments for children with sensory processing differences.
• Support children and young people to develop their ability to participate in everyday activities.
• Provide specialist advice and recommendations to families, schools and other professionals.
• Work across a variety of community settings, including schools, family homes and clinics.
• Help children engage successfully in their home, school and wider community environments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
• Strong experience in community paediatrics.
• Specialist knowledge of neurological conditions and sensory processing difficulties.
• HCPC registration.
