Salaries for Occupational Therapists working in the NHS start at Band 5 of the NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) Pay Rates (£25,655 to £31,534). Salaries for specialist occupational therapists range from £32,306 to £39,027 (Band 6) and advanced/highly specialist Occupational Therapists can earn £40,057 to £45,839 (Band 7).
Depending on banding, a locum can expect to earn between £20 and £35 per hour.
Whilst we cover all of the UK, the majority of roles are based in/around the London/Greater London area.
We have roles covering all bandings within the NHS, but the majority will be that of a B6
Hours are dependant upon the service, but your working week will be around 37.5 hours, covering over a 7 day period in some cases.
