Locum Band 6 Acute Stroke Occupational Therapist – SE London

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Acute Stroke Occupational Therapist to join a busy hospital team based in SE London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT with a strong background in acute stroke rehabilitation, looking to take on a rewarding locum position.

The Role:

• Assess and treat patients following acute stroke.
• Complete functional assessments and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Support safe and timely hospital discharge.
• Work closely with the MDT to deliver effective patient-centred care.
• Provide specialist OT interventions to support patients' independence and recovery.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Previous NHS acute hospital experience.
• Strong experience within an acute stroke setting.
• Confident completing assessments, treatment planning and discharge recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
