JustOT | Locum Band 6 Elderly / AMU Occupational Therapist

JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy elderly care and Acute Medical Unit (AMU) team based in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT with a strong background in acute hospital settings and older people's care.

The Role:

• Assessing and treating elderly patients within AMU.
• Completing functional and cognitive assessments.
• Supporting safe and timely hospital discharges.
• Providing appropriate equipment and rehabilitation recommendations.
• Working closely with the MDT to support patient flow and recovery.
• Managing a varied and fast-paced caseload.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Previous NHS experience.
• Experience working within acute medicine and/or elderly care.
• Confident completing assessments and discharge planning.
• Strong communication and MDT working skills.
