Acute Locum Occupational Therapist – Ireland

JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Acute Locum Occupational Therapist to join a healthcare team based in Ireland.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated OT with strong acute experience and a background in working with older adults and patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive seating assessments and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assess and treat patients within an acute hospital setting.
• Work with patients presenting with stroke, dementia and cognitive impairment.
• Support patients within a frailty team, including falls assessments and cognitive assessments.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to support patient safety, independence and rehabilitation.

Essential Experience:

• Previous experience working in an acute setting.
• Experience completing seating assessments and interventions.
• Experience working with stroke, dementia and cognitive impairment.
• Previous experience within a frailty team, including falls and cognitive assessments and interventions.
