Band 6 Locum Spinal Cord Injury Occupational Therapist – Buckinghamshire

JustOT is recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Spinal Cord Injury Occupational Therapist to join a service based in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OT with experience in neurological conditions, hand therapy and powered mobility to take on a rewarding locum role.

Job Details:

• Duration: 3 months initially, with review
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Part-time: Considered

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions.
• Apply your expertise in hand therapy and powered mobility to support patient independence and functional outcomes.
• Manage a clinical caseload, providing evidence-based, patient-centred care.
• Support and supervise junior staff where required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and keep your continuing professional development (CPD) up to date.
• Travel between sites as required.

Essential Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant post-registration experience.
• Clinical experience in hand therapy, powered mobility and neurological conditions.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• Full driving licence and access to a car for travel between sites.
