Locum Band 6 Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist – West London

JustOT is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an inpatient rehabilitation team in West London, covering a mixed neurological rehabilitation and general medicine caseload.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT looking to develop their acute and rehabilitation skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied inpatient caseload across neuro rehabilitation and general medicine.
• Complete comprehensive assessments to identify patients’ functional abilities, rehabilitation needs and discharge requirements.
• Plan and deliver evidence-based, patient-centred occupational therapy interventions.
• Assess activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, mobility and equipment needs.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support safe and timely patient discharges.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students where required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to ongoing patient reviews.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Previous NHS inpatient experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience managing neuro rehabilitation and general medical caseloads.
• Strong assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working abilities.
