Locum B6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist – North Bedfordshire

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Rehab OT to join a team in North Bedfordshire.

The Role:

• Visit clients in their own homes, residential/nursing homes and rehabilitation bedded units.
• Complete holistic assessments and develop appropriate rehabilitation plans.
• Assess for and order equipment to support clients and carers.
• Demonstrate equipment to care agencies and other relevant services.
• Complete onward referrals and liaise with senior staff and wider services.
• Support junior staff where required.
• Assist with hospital discharges and rehabilitation bedded units when demand requires.
• Review cases appropriately and within agreed timescales.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 20–25 clients.

Requirements:

• Strong previous Community OT experience is essential.
• NHS/community rehabilitation experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
