Locum Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist, Midlands - Ireland

JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join a friendly and supportive Primary Care team based in the Midlands region of Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working independently within the community, supporting adults to maximise their independence and quality of life while remaining in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to adults within the community setting.
• Carry out comprehensive functional and environmental assessments.
• Assess, recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and adaptations.
• Develop person-centred intervention plans to promote independence and safety at home.
• Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, healthcare professionals, patients, families and carers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
• Manage a varied caseload across the Primary Care service.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register).
• Previous experience working within a community or primary care setting.
• Strong assessment, care planning and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy caseload.
• Must have access to own transport and a full driving licence, as travel throughout the community is required.
• 24 hours per week
