Locum B6 Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist – Essex

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join a team in Essex.

The Role:

• Manage a community caseload, completing detailed assessments and treatment plans.
• Support patients with new stroke diagnoses through community rehabilitation.
• Work as part of an MDT, applying current stroke rehabilitation guidelines.
• Provide patient-centred rehabilitation for complex functional needs.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families and wider professionals to achieve meaningful goals.
• Assess and order appropriate equipment to promote independence and quality of life.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Previous NHS community experience.
• Strong experience in community rehabilitation, ideally with stroke patients.
• Excellent communication and MDT working skills.
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• Location: Essex
