Band 6 Locum Hand Therapist – Surrey

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Hand Therapist to join a specialist team in Surrey on a locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled therapist with a strong background in hand therapy to work with a varied caseload of patients presenting with hand and wrist-related conditions.

The Role

• Work within a specialist Hand Therapy setting, managing your own patient caseload.
• Assess and treat a broad range of hand and wrist pathologies.
• Provide personalised recovery and rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work with acute elective, acute trauma, plastics and rheumatology patients.
• Design and provide bespoke splints to support patient recovery.
• Manage wounds and remove stitches where clinically appropriate.
• Work closely with the wider hand therapy team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• HCPC registration.
• Previous experience working in a Hand Therapy setting.
• Strong understanding of hand pathologies and their management.
• Experience managing a varied hand therapy caseload.
• Confidence in splinting, wound management and rehabilitation planning.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to the wider team.

Location: Surrey

Hours: 28 hours per week

Contract: Locum
