Band 6 Locum Community Falls Occupational Therapist – South East London

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Falls Occupational Therapist to join a community-based service in South East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community OT with a background working with older adults and elderly fallers.

The Role:

• Assess and support older adults following falls in the community
• Complete functional and environmental assessments
• Assess and prescribe equipment and minor adaptations
• Provide appropriate OT interventions to promote independence and safety
• Work closely with the wider MDT
• Manage a caseload autonomously across the community

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous community OT experience working with older adults
• Experience working with elderly fallers
• Experience assessing and prescribing equipment and minor adaptations
• Ability to travel around the community
