Band 6 Neuro Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist – Locum

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Neuro Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join an inpatient neurorehabilitation service in Surrey.

The Role

You will provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients requiring neurorehabilitation, working with individuals with complex needs to support their recovery, independence and safe discharge.

You will:

• Assess and treat patients within an inpatient neurorehabilitation setting.
• Manage and prioritise your own clinical caseload and ongoing tasks.
• Complete comprehensive OT assessments using expert clinical reasoning.
• Develop evidence-based, individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide specialist interventions, adaptive techniques and equipment where appropriate.
• Coordinate with other services and professionals to support patient outcomes.
• Allocate appropriate tasks to Technical Instructors and provide ongoing support.

Requirements

• HCPC registration.
• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Previous experience within neurorehabilitation is essential.
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Experience managing complex neurological presentations.
• Ability to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am–4pm.
