Permanent Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist

JustOT have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work with one of our amazing clients who support children who have additional needs as down syndrome, an autistic spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and sensory processing difficulties.

The successful applicant:

• Have placement education experience working with children who have additional needs

• The caseload is variable and will include complex needs and also general developmental difficulties approach

• Majority of the children are seen in their homes, making exemplary interpersonal and communication skills a must

• Duties include assessing, planning and implementing appropriate occupational therapy interventions for children and supporting their families

• Support to develop problem solving and specialist clinical skills essential for meeting the demands of this setting.

• Successful applicant will be part of a hard working team who are motivated to provide the best possible outcome for the families they work with.

• Admin support and clinical supervision will be provided

• Qualified Occupational Therapist

• HCPC registered / in the process
