Locum Band 7 Neuro / ABI Occupational Therapist – Leeds

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Neuro/ABI Occupational Therapist for an exciting locum opportunity in Leeds.

You will work as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team, providing specialist Occupational Therapy input within the BIRT Neurobehavioral model to people with acquired brain injury (ABI).

The Role

• Lead on Occupational Therapy provision within the service.
• Provide specialist assessment, intervention and rehabilitation for people with ABI.
• Work collaboratively as part of an MDT to support meaningful outcomes and rehabilitation.
• Liaise with internal and external professionals, family members and people we support.
• Contribute to a person-centred, neurobehavioral approach to care.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience within neurology / acquired brain injury.
• Band 7-level clinical experience and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and MDT working skills.
• Experience working within a neurobehavioral or neurorehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

Hours: 14–28 hours per week
