Band 6 Locum Neuro Occupational Therapist – Western Isles

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join a welcoming NHS team in the Western Isles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a versatile OT looking for a varied role in a unique island setting. The position is predominantly outpatient-based, with some inpatient and domiciliary visits.

The Role

• Provide specialist OT assessment and intervention across outpatient services.
• Manage a varied caseload including neurological conditions, stroke, rheumatology and hand conditions.
• Carry out hand therapy interventions, including splinting.
• Provide inpatient and domiciliary OT input where required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider MDT.
• Travel across the Western Isles, with occasional clinics in the Southern Isles.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous Band 6 NHS experience.
• Experience in neuro/stroke OT.
• Experience of rheumatology and hand therapy, including splinting, is highly desirable.
