Locum Band 7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist – Team Lead | South London

JustOT are currently recruiting for an exciting Band 7 Locum Mental Health Occupational Therapist Team Lead opportunity in South London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mental Health OT with strong leadership skills to take on a key role within a multidisciplinary team.

The Role

You will provide professional and operational leadership to the MDT, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in supporting staff development, supervision and performance, while promoting excellent team working.

You will also contribute to quality improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice across the service.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Significant experience working within mental health services
• Previous leadership experience within an MDT
• Strong team-working and communication skills
• Experience providing supervision and supporting staff development
• Ability to lead and promote high-quality, person-centred care
• Team management, service improvement and project/budget management experience desirable
