Locum Band 7 Hand Therapist – South London

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Hand Therapist to join a high-quality hospital service in South London.

This is a rare opportunity for a skilled Hand Therapist to provide specialist assessment and treatment to a varied caseload of adults and children, working closely with leading orthopaedic and hand surgery consultants.

The Role

You will support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, managing a complex caseload including:

• Post-surgical hand and wrist trauma
• Tendon and nerve repairs
• Fractures and soft-tissue injuries
• Complex upper limb presentations
• Specialist rehabilitation following hand surgery

You will work collaboratively with consultants, patients, families and the wider MDT to ensure a seamless, professional patient experience.

What We're Looking For

• Band 7 equivalent Hand Therapy experience
• Strong specialist hand therapy experience
• Excellent splint fabrication skills
• Experience in wound and scar management
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Organised, adaptable and confident managing a varied caseload
• Previous NHS/hospital experience is highly desirable
