B6 Locum Community Occupational Therapist – Shropshire

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join a team in Shropshire on a locum basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to work across acute/community hospital and community settings, supporting a seamless transition of care and helping patients achieve their goals within their own environment.

The Role

• Provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service from acute or community hospital into the community.
• Complete holistic assessments and provide appropriate OT interventions.
• Support safe and effective discharge planning.
• Work as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver responsive, person-centred care based on the needs of the local population.
• Liaise effectively with health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• HCPC registration.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous NHS/community OT experience at Band 6 level.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and discharge planning skills.
• Excellent communication and MDT working skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
