B6 Locum Mental Health Practitioner, primarily an Occupational Therapist – SE London

JustOT are currently recruiting for an exciting short-term Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner opportunity in South East London.

This is a rare opportunity to join a new community mental health pilot project with a major national profile. The pilot is being closely supported by NHS England, with the ambition of radically transforming the way mental health care is delivered across the UK.

The project is urgent and short-term, with a key focus on demonstrating effective service delivery to support future recommissioning.

The Role

As a Registered Mental Health Professional, you will provide high-quality care to service users and patients, while coordinating care delivered by colleagues across the wider team.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care
• Assessing and responding to service users' needs
• Coordinating care and working closely with colleagues across the MDT
• Supporting effective community-based interventions
• Contributing to the successful delivery and evidence base of this innovative pilot

Requirements

• Band 6 level experience within mental health
• Registered Mental Health Professional
• Strong community mental health experience
• Excellent assessment, care planning and risk management skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
