Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist – SW London

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist to join an NHS service in South West London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced acute OT to work within an NHS acute medicine inpatient team, supporting patients with complex needs and helping to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning.

The Role

• Working within acute medicine inpatient wards
• Completing comprehensive OT assessments and interventions
• Supporting complex discharge planning and onward care
• Working closely with the wider MDT
• Managing a varied and fast-paced caseload
• Providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous NHS acute/inpatient experience
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and MDT working skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a busy acute environment
• Oncology or neurology experience is desirable
