JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Locum Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a friendly and supportive Community Children's Occupational Therapy team in South East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with community paediatric experience who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential through evidence-based, family-centred interventions.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a varied caseload of children with a range of functional difficulties.
• Completing Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
• Assessing, planning and delivering therapeutic interventions to support children in achieving their functional goals.
• Working collaboratively with families, schools and multidisciplinary teams.
• Using evidence-based approaches, including CO-OP and coaching strategies, to promote independence and participation.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working within a Community Children's Occupational Therapy service.
• Experience supporting children with a range of diagnoses including Autism, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy.
• Experience completing EHCNA assessments.
• Knowledge and practical experience of CO-OP and coaching approaches.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
