Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Locum | Kent | Term-Time Only

JustOT is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist service in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with experience supporting children and young adults with complex needs, or someone with transferable skills looking to develop within a highly rewarding specialist setting.

The Role

You will work with young adults who have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), learning disabilities, and complex physical needs, delivering specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to maximise independence, participation, and quality of life.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting service users with their functional, sensory, and equipment needs while working collaboratively with families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Sensory Integration training and/or practical experience
• Experience working with young adults with PMLD, learning disabilities, or complex needs
• Knowledge of the physical needs associated with complex disabilities
• Experience assessing and recommending specialist equipment is highly desirable
• Candidates with relevant transferable experience are also encouraged to apply
