Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Older Adult Mental Health

JustOT is urgently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated Older Adult Mental Health team in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with experience supporting older adults, including those living with mental health conditions and dementia, within a multidisciplinary setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete functional, home and standardised assessments
• Deliver person-centred OT interventions
• Plan and facilitate therapeutic group work
• Support patients to maximise independence and quality of life
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team

Essential requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Band 6 experience within older adult mental health
• Experience working with dementia patients
• Confident carrying out functional and home assessments
• Strong assessment, communication and clinical reasoning skills
