Occupational Therapist – Band 7 (Permanent)

Salary: £42,170 - £49,387 (depending on neurological experience)

Location: West Midlands

Hours: Full-time

The Opportunity

My client is looking for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join their specialist neurological rehabilitation service in the West Midlands. Working across two sites, you will provide high-quality rehabilitation for individuals with complex neurological conditions through both individual and group therapy sessions.

You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting residents through slow-stream rehabilitation and long-term maintenance to maximise independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete specialist neurological occupational therapy assessments.

• Develop and deliver individualised treatment programmes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

• Promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Minimum of 4 years' post-registration clinical experience.

• Experience in neurological rehabilitation.

• Knowledge of upper limb splinting and rehabilitation programmes.

• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable:

• Experience with MOHO and Vona du Toit's Model of Creative Ability.

• Mental Capacity Assessments and DoLS experience.

• Group therapy experience.
