Band 6 Neuro Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist – Locum

Location: East London

Hours: Part-Time (18 hours pw)

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated Neuro Rehabilitation team in East London on a part-time locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team, supporting adults with neurological conditions to maximise their independence and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.

The Role:

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement person-centred rehabilitation programmes.
• Assess functional abilities, cognition, upper limb function and equipment needs.
• Support patients with discharge planning and community reintegration where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, nursing staff and the wider MDT.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development where required.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous NHS Band 6 experience within neuro rehabilitation.
• Experience managing a neurological caseload independently.
• Excellent clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
