Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist – Scotland

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community OT to join a rural community service in Scotland.

This is a great opportunity for an autonomous clinician who is confident managing a varied and complex caseload, including frailty, multi-morbidity, hospital discharge and admission avoidance.

The Role:

• Location: Highlands – rural community setting
• Hours: 30 hours per week – days negotiable
• Duration: 1 month initially, with potential to extend
• Setting: Community / Home First model

We’re Looking For:

• Strong functional and environmental assessment skills
• Experience managing complex patients, frailty and multi-morbidity
• Hospital discharge and admission avoidance experience
• Confident clinical decision-making and risk assessment
• Ability to work autonomously as a lone practitioner
• Strong prioritisation and caseload management skills
• Excellent communication and MDT working

Due to limited OT cover in the area, you’ll need to be confident working independently while maintaining safe, high-quality patient care.
