Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Locum | West London

JustOT are looking for an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated education team supporting children and young people across schools in West London. This role is for one day per week. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with paediatric experience to work within an established education service, delivering high-quality therapy as part of EHCP provision while making a real difference to children in school settings.

The Role

• Provide Occupational Therapy support across a range of schools as part of the Education Team.
• Deliver assessments, interventions and reviews in line with Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) provision.
• Support children with a variety of developmental, physical and sensory needs to maximise their participation within the school environment.
• One day per week will be dedicated to supporting Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
• Work collaboratively with schools, families and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working within paediatric and/or education settings.
• Knowledge of EHCP processes and school-based Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to work independently while managing a varied caseload.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
