Locum Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist – West London

JustOT is recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist to join a busy NHS acute hospital in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll manage a varied acute caseload, completing assessments, facilitating safe and timely discharges, and supporting patients to maximise their independence.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients across acute medical and surgical wards
• Carry out functional assessments and discharge planning
• Work closely with the MDT to coordinate patient care
• Manage a varied caseload while prioritising effectively
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Ideally previous NHS experience within an acute hospital setting
• Confident managing complex discharge planning
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Available to start as soon as possible
