We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive OT Advice and Wellbeing Hub on a temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an OT with extensive experience in major adaptations, including:

Stairlifts

Level access/wet room showers

Ramps and access solutions

Specialist adaptations to support independence at home

You will be responsible for assessing, undertaking home visits, and producing detailed recommendations and specifications to support major adaptation schemes in the Borough Councils Properties.

Working closely with the Borough's Council Housing colleagues, and surveyors , you will play a key role in enabling residents to remain safe, independent and well within their own homes.

We are looking for someone who has:

Significant experience assessing for major adaptations.

Strong knowledge of adaptation pathways.

Experience writing detailed adaptation specifications and reports.

Excellent assessment, problem-solving and communication skills.

A person-centred approach with a focus on independence, choice and wellbeing.
