Band 7 Inpatient Stroke & Neuro Occupational Therapist – Locum, 30 hours pw

JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join an inpatient Stroke & Neurorehabilitation service in North London on a locum basis.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a specialist Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality clinical care to adults with neurological conditions, including Stroke, within a dedicated rehabilitation setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Completing specialist OT assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions for patients with complex neurological needs.
• Managing a clinical caseload, providing treatment, case coordination, and discharge planning.
• Supporting patients to maximise independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Working closely with patients, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Supporting smooth transitions from inpatient rehabilitation into the community, including follow-up where appropriate.
• Collaborating with community services, social care teams, and voluntary sector providers to ensure effective ongoing support.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with:

• Significant experience in stroke and neurological rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical reasoning and specialist assessment skills.
• Experience supporting complex discharge planning.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
