Our client is seeking a highly motivated Lead Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic and supportive team at a specialist school for children and young people aged 4–19 years with autism.

Based in Tadworth, Surrey, our client is committed to helping every pupil thrive by building on their strengths, celebrating their achievements, and supporting their individual needs. They also recognise the vital role families play and work closely with parents and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting Band 7 opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the strategic development of the Occupational Therapy service while maintaining a clinical caseload of pupils with highly complex needs.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team—and as a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team—you will:

• Lead and support a small team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Deliver specialist assessments, intervention planning and evidence-based therapy.

• Promote pupils' independence and participation across school, home and community environments.

• Help shape and develop the Occupational Therapy provision in line with current best practice.

• Work alongside Speech & Language Therapists, Art Therapists, Therapy Assistants and a Clinical Psychologist-led Behaviour and Therapy Team.
