Band 7 Locum Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist)

Location: Surrey

Contract: 3–6 Months (Potential Extension)

Hours: 30 per week

JustOT is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) for an exciting opportunity based in Surrey. This role is expected to run for 3–6 months while the service undergoes a recruitment phase, offering an excellent opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a specialist hand therapy caseload, providing high-quality assessment and treatment for patients with a range of upper limb conditions.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous Band 7 or equivalent hand therapy experience.
• Extensive experience treating surgically managed trauma and elective orthopaedic upper limb conditions.
• Strong splinting and wound care skills.
• Experience working within the NHS and confidence using electronic patient record systems, including Cerner.
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills.
