Locum Band 6 Community Neuro Occupational Therapist – Berkshire

JustOT are looking to recruit an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a rewarding locum opportunity within a Community Neurology service based in Berkshire.

This is a part-time position offering 22.5 hours per week, working with adults in the community who have a range of neurological conditions. You'll play a key role in supporting individuals to maximise their independence, improve functional outcomes, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy interventions for adults with neurological conditions in community settings.
• Carry out comprehensive functional and environmental assessments.
• Develop person-centred rehabilitation programmes to promote independence and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous NHS experience at Band 6 level.
• Experience working within community neuro rehabilitation is essential.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own transport, as community visits are required.
