Our client is looking for a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to provide a highly specialist clinical service to students across the school sites and residential setting as required.
Job Summary
• Provide a highly specialist clinical service to students across the school sites and residential setting as required.
• Work as an integrated member of the transdisciplinary team.
• Be responsible for the assessment, treatment, implementation, and documentation of occupational therapy interventions within a nominated caseload.
• Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure occupational therapy is integrated into curriculum planning and delivery.
• Be responsible for the performance management of identified team members.

Skills & Abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed organisational and leadership skills.
• Driving licence (desirable).
• Sound IT skills.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of interventions relevant to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Sound knowledge of service delivery models and clinical governance.
Experience
• Minimum of 4 years' experience, including significant experience working with individuals with ASD.
• Evidence of responsibility for staff supervision and caseload management.
• Experience in the development and delivery of training.
Education & Certifications
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (essential).
• Further professional training and specialist short courses to Master's level equivalent (desirable).
• Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and licence to practise (essential).
• Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
• Sensory Integration Level 2 qualification (desirable).
