Occupational Therapist – Neurology (Band 6)

JustOT is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a community neurology service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to adults with complex neurological conditions across the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with a wide range of complex neurological, physical and psychological conditions.
• Develop and deliver personalised, evidence-based treatment programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions to support patients in maximising their independence and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with patients, carers, families and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Deliver services to a diverse, multicultural community while providing compassionate, patient-centred care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous Band 6 experience, ideally within neurology or community rehabilitation.
• Experience managing patients with complex neurological presentations.
• Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Must be a car driver or have access to suitable transport to travel across the borough.
