Occupational Therapist – Neurological Rehabilitation

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland

Hours: Up to Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Contract Type: Permanent (On-Site)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Our Client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our in-house multidisciplinary team in Aberdeen, supporting residents with complex neurological conditions. Working as part of a specialist team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation and maintenance programmes designed to maximise independence, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.

• Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation and maintenance programmes.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology and physiotherapy colleagues.

• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt interventions as required.

• Support residents with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury and other neurological disorders.

Essential Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy (OT qualification).

• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Demonstrable experience working within neurological settings, including neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury (ABI), stroke, or other complex neurological conditions.

• Strong understanding of neurological rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice.

• Ability to work effectively within a specialist multidisciplinary team.

• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.

• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
