Two Can Talk Speech Therapy Limited is a well-established multidisciplinary service based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, providing specialist assessment and support for children and young people with communication differences, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Our experienced team includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Art Therapists, Physiotherapists, and a Clinical Psychologist, with a Medical Doctor soon to join our expanding service. As our Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Service continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary diagnostic team.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism and ADHD in children and young people. Working collaboratively within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will contribute specialist psychological expertise to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments and provide ongoing support to families following diagnosis where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental and psychological assessments as part of a comprehensive Autism and ADHD diagnostic pathway.

• Complete psychometric assessments to develop an understanding of a child or young person's cognitive and learning profile.

• Provide psychological formulation by integrating developmental, behavioural, educational, and assessment data to support diagnostic decision-making.

• Contribute specialist psychological opinion and diagnostic formulation in accordance with NICE guidelines and evidence-based practice.

• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions alongside Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals.

• Produce high-quality assessment reports with clear findings and recommendations.

• Provide guidance and support to families, referrers, and professionals regarding post-diagnostic support and onward referrals.

• Support the continued development and enhancement of our neurodevelopmental assessment service.

About You

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registration and licence to practise in the UK.

• Experience working within NHS and/or private Autism and ADHD diagnostic pathways.

• Experience using assessment tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, or equivalent diagnostic measures.

• Experience conducting psychometric and psychological assessments with children and young people.

• Strong understanding of Autism and ADHD diagnostic criteria and neurodevelopmental assessment processes.

• Experience within Community Paediatrics, CAMHS, Neurodevelopmental Services, or Primary Care settings.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.

• Strong interpersonal and consultation skills with families and professionals.
