Hours & Contract
* 36 hours per week
* Term-time only
* 6-12 month contract (with flexibility)
* Band 6 or Band 7 considered
* Salary dependent on experience

About the Role
You will be working with children and young people in a paediatric, school-based setting, supporting pupils with SEN and complex needs, including PMLD. The role involves both direct intervention and collaborative working with education and care staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessment, review, and recommendation of specialist equipment
* Development and review of moving and handling plans
* Delivery of PMLD-specific occupational therapy interventions
* Supporting functional independence and access to education
* Working closely with teaching staff, families, and wider professionals

What We're Looking For
* Qualified Occupational Therapist (Band 6 or 7)
* Paediatric experience essential
* Strong background in SEN and school settings
* Confident in assessment and intervention planning
* Experience with PMLD essential
* Knowledge of ASD and other diagnostic populations highly desirable
