JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £22-£26 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

Mandatory:
- Registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC)
- Clinical experience in Mental Health settings
- Substantial post registration experience as an OT
- Advising and supporting / supervising junior staff and students
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management
- Specialist knowledge and application of OT assessments and interventions and outcome measures, relevant to client group

Desirable:
- Forensic experience
- Experience of working with people with challenging behaviours
- Post-registration qualification in related area (mental health, clinical skills, coaching/ supervision)
- Training or education related to the care of older people.
