JustOT are recruiting for an experienced, HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our well-respected client in Lancashire for a specialist project.

Details:
Hourly rate: £38.00
Location: Lancashire
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Working arrangements: Hybrid (office and home-based)

About the Role:
You will be delivering a medication monitoring service designed to support individuals currently receiving medication assistance in their own homes. The project involves the installation and management of mobile medication management technology that reminds users to take their medication independently.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing referred service users for suitability
Supporting the installation of the medication monitoring device
Setting and managing the monitoring schedule
Regularly checking in with service users throughout the 6-week monitoring period
Reporting progress and findings back to the project team
This role requires close collaboration with service users and partner organisations. It focuses on the delivery of the service, primarily involving direct interaction with service users to ensure the successful implementation and support of the programme.

Key Duties:
Receive and review referrals from the social care team
Contact service users to assess suitability for the project
Provide and install monitoring devices
Support care providers and end users throughout the process
Collect and review monitoring data during the service period
Escalate notifications to care providers as needed
Remove devices at the end of the monitoring period
Collate final data and prepare reports on findings and trends for key stakeholders on a weekly/monthly basis
Maintain accurate logs of all activities and communications

Essential Requirements:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Minimum 3 years experience within Social Services
Full UK driving licence
