JustOT are recruiting for Two experienced, HCPC registered, Community Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in South London

Concessionary Travel Scheme Expert Assessor - 18 hours per week Occupational Therapist required to undertake assessments for people applying for the Concessionary travel scheme (Blue Badges, Taxi cards and Disability Freedom Pass) in accordance with the service level target of 6 weeks from referral to provision. Joint work with our Concessionary travel team. They will upload an applicant's background information in order for you to complete a desk-based screening. When necessary you will invite applicants to attend a face-to-face clinic assessment in order to establish if the appropriate criteria are met. The face-to-face assessment involves an interview and mobility assessment which includes relevant submitted medical evidence. You will be able to work autonomously and make clear evidence based decisions according to the criteria. London Borough of Sutton provides regular supervision through an OT manager. You may be required to do other Occupational Therapy or generic social care tasks in accordance with the needs of the service

Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour
