Experience, Skills and Other Requirements

Essential experience in manual handling e.g. mobile and gantry hoists
Experience of community rehabilitation/bedded rehabilitation
Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner including assessing and treating complex patients.
To provide a high standard occupational therapy service to patients in TADD beds (Interim bedded unit for patients discharged from hospital). These are essentially the patients that have had Covid and will need a short period of rehabilitation before getting discharged.
To work closely with social services, community services, patients and their carers, other disciplines and services to identify and realise desired and achievable goals, and optimise wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
