JustOT are recruiting for a Band 6 A&E Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in Manchester. This role is due to start immediately for an ongoing position working compressed hours over four days.

Location: Manchester
Rates: £21-£24 p/h (UMBRELLA)

Our client is looking for a band 6 A&E Occupational therapist. The skills the Locum must require would be:
Experience in the Front End services (A&E Majors, Clinical decision units, Acute assessments unit)
Experience in discharge planning and admissions avoidance.
Experience in an adult physical setting.
Prior experience in an acute hospital working with medically unwell frail older adults.
Good understanding of Acute hospital discharge planning, frailty and comprehensive geriatric assessments
Ability to prescribe basic ADL equipment and mobility equipment
Able to undertake complex manual handling
Able to undertake mobility, functional, ADL & cognitive assessments
Comfortable with electronic documentation
Flexible worker and good team player with good communication skills
