A Bolton-based case management company is looking for more occupational therapists to join its team.
Northern Case Management was set up by Carol Collins in 1997 and offers neuro-rehabilitation services, The Bolton News reported.
Ms Collins started the business alone and now she has 23 office-based staff as well as managing 150 support workers for her 135 clients.
She is now setting out on a new recruitment drive offering occupational therapy jobs to boost her team and help increase the number of new referrals.
Ms Collins told the newspaper that she finds working with people with brain injuries varied and exciting.
"It's fantastically complex and difficult," she stated and noted that clients of her company cover people of all ages who have suffered brain injuries at various stages of their lives.
According to figures published by Headway The Brain Injury Association, approximately 500,000 people are living with long-term disabilities due to traumatic brain injury in the UK.
