A new medical centre has opened to the public offering impartial advice to help people lead more independent lives.
Among those working at the Guideposts Trust Independent Living Centre, which is based in Witney, are occupational therapists.
The experts are on hand to offer advice to patients in confidential consultations which are run on a one-to-one basis and are available via prior bookings.
As well as this, the therapists will assess the needs of visitors to the centre and will demonstrate the range of equipment that the medical facility has to offer.
Commenting on the facility, its manager Jennie Lea, said: "The main aim of the centre and its staff is to promote independent living for adults enabling choice, control and easy access to a range of services."
Guideposts Trust has also compiled a booklet containing questions which people can ask before purchasing equipment.
Headquartered in Oxfordshire, the Guideposts Trust provides support to people with Alzheimer's, learning difficulties and mental health issues.
