New occupational therapy jobs to be created
Monday 24th November 2008
A range of medical staff, including occupational therapists, will be required when a new neurological nursing care and rehabilitation centre opens in September next year, it has been revealed.
According to a report in the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph, a total of 200 new jobs will be created as a result of the development, including doctor roles and physiotherapy posts.
The facility, which will be run by PJ Care, is to be located at Badby Park near Daventry - a market town in Northamptonshire with a population of over 22,000.
Barclays Commercial Bank has provided financing for the initiative.
Commenting on the development, managing director of PJ Care Jan Flawn said: "We shall be looking to recruit a team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and support staff for the new centre.
"We expect to open in September next year and the enterprise will mark a natural expansion to our businesses in the Milton Keynes area."
