New medical centre offers audiology services

A newly reopened medical centre is now offering hearing services, people seeking audiology jobs may wish to note.
The facility, which is located in the north London suburb of East Finchely, used to serve people of all ages but will now just focus on children, the Times-Series reports.
A decision to convert the centre was taken nearly 12 months ago in December 2007.
In addition to audiology services, Oak Lane Children's Health Centre will offer occupational therapy, dental care and mental health care.
Meanwhile, work on a community centre in Hampshire is due to get underway next year, it was recently revealed.
According to reports the Portsmouth News, Hampshire Primary Care Trust it is to begin work on the Fareham Community Hospital in January.
Among the services it will offer are podiatry and phlebotomy and a catchment area of around 109,000 will be able to make use of the centre.
