JustOT are looking to recruit a Peadiatric Occupational Therapy Assistant for a locum position with our client in Shropshire.

The pay for this position is £34 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We are looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist To undertake the assessment, support planning and care co-ordination of children with complex needs within a team and home environment.

The following tasks are indicative of those that may be expected from the post holder and are not a complete list of those that a post holder may undertake.
*To undertake the assessment, support planning and care co-ordination of children with complex needs. Primary tasks to include assessment and recommendation of appropriate equipment and adaptations.
*To provide advice and support to service users, their families and as appropriate the public on a day to day basis.
*To promote close and constructive relationships with service users, carers and partner agencies.
*To identify and highlight resource issues to the Team Leader and Senior Practitioner.
*To promote standards which achieve equality of opportunity
*To ensure personal adherence to all relevant Policies & Procedures.

*Service users, carers and family members when undertaking assessments, support planning and care co-ordination giving professional advice.
*Team members and colleagues when co-ordinating and reviewing the implementation of support plans
*Team Leaders & Senior Practitioners - regular dialogue as part of the delivery of services to children with complex needs.
*Statutory, Voluntary, Independent and Faith Group Partner Organisations as part of the assessment, support planning and care co-ordination process.
Other stakeholders as required such as GP's and other medical professionals.
*To be professionally creative when undertaking the assessment, support planning and care co-ordination for children with complex needs.
*To use risk creatively to maximise the independence of services users and their families.
*In consultation with the Team Leader and Senior Practitioner develop specialist skills and knowledge required to deliver services, which may entail further relevant training.
The post holder will be expected to produce complex reports in relation to service users and carers.
