JustOT are looking to recruit a Telecare Coordinator Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £31.21 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapis or Assisatnt /Telecare Coordinator

Co-ordinating telecare across the borough facilitate the change in working practices of health and social care professionals.

To work in close partnership with health and social care services and TeleCareLine installation & monitoring teams in order to establish systems, procedures and protocols to ensure the efficient provision of TeleCareLine services
.
Provide training & development support to social care professional across the customer pathway to support effective assessment for the effective application of telecare solutions included acting as subject matter expert on complex cases.
In conjunction with TeleCareLine Operations Manager continuously evaluate new and emerging solutions and advise senior managers and their teams on their application.

Provide support and guidance to multi-disciplinary teams in order to support staff training and development across health and social services in LB Hillingdon and to increase quality Telecare referrals.

Lead on delivering training for staff to prescribe Telecare following an agreed training course. To organise and provide appropriate training to staff as well as promote Telecare at public events to increase awareness amongst members of the public.

Be the prime liaison person between the Monitoring & Installation Teams and Health and Social Care teams to ensure effective and timely application of Telecare equipment to service users.

Carry out Telecare assessments and reviews where required to identify appropriate service provision to meet any identified Health or Social Care need

Work closely with health and social Care professionals to promote Telecare within the context of enablement and personalisation.

To act as the Telecare equipment expert for the borough and social services staff and ensure an holistic approach is taken.

To have an understanding of Telecare equipment and to understand the requirements for successful installation.

Collate the relevant Telecare data and provide monthly reports with a full annual report and ad-hoc reports as required.

To lead on the evaluation of TeleCareLine service within the borough on a periodic basis.

Keep abreast of equipment developments, current legislation, government policies and procedures regarding Telecare and associated targets and update training, service policies and procedures and marketing information to reflect these changes.

Network across relevant health, social services and voluntary organisations and with other UK Telecare services

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
